The Moment Everything Aligned

Sayso Style began at 11:11 pm on a quiet Friday night — a moment when everything aligned. Earlier that evening, Ola, who works in healthcare supply chain management, was walking on the treadmill thinking about impact.

A question kept repeating in his mind:

“How can I contribute something meaningful to the world in a way people can actually feel?” Words weren’t always the easiest way for him to express what he felt. Speaking out loud or making videos didn’t come naturally.

So he wondered, “What if something else could speak for me?” That question sparked the idea that clothing could talk, that what we wear could carry a message that matters.

Later that night, Lola woke up from a nap after a challenging and powerful week in academia and public health — the kind of week that pushes you, grows you, and reminds you why the work matters.

When Ola shared his idea, something clicked instantly. Lola added a perspective shaped by her own work: “People want to be seen.”

That simple truth became the bridge between both of our worlds.
